Video: A Few Minutes With... "So You Think You Can Dance" Contestants Matthew Kazmierczak & Amelia Lowe
By Jim Halterman (TFC)

After taking a few weeks off during the Olympics, "So You Think You Can Dance" returned last night to whittle down the remaining 14 dancers to establish the Season 9 Top 10 who will start dancing with the yet-to-be-announced All-Stars in next week's show. Last night's episode also marked the first time the competition series had devoted an entire episode to honoring the work of one choreographer, Mia Michaels, and the feedback from the judges on the performances by the dancers was mixed, at best.

Our Jim Halterman was at last night's taping and grabbed time with judge/Executive Producer Nigel Lythgoe, Judge Mary Murphy and Adam Shankman (who was in the audience for the show). Also, guest judges Michael Nunn and William Trevitt (aka "The BalletBoyz") stopped by to talk about the show's dancers as well as their new Ovation series (with Lythgoe), "A Chance To Dance." Finally, the four eliminated dancers offered up parting words and the Top 10 talked of the challenges ahead.

And here's the complete index of all the interviews from the event:
