"60 MINUTES" MAKES THE TOP 10 FOR THE FIFTH STRAIGHT TIME AND THE SIXTH IN SEVEN WEEKS
The CBS Newsmagazine Is Sunday's #1 Primetime Broadcast and
Makes the Top 10 in Key Demos
For the fifth straight week, 60 MINUTES landed on the Nielsen Top 10 list in viewers and households, drawing 13.83 million and scoring an 8.7/15, good for #4 by both measures. It was the sixth time in seven weeks that the broadcast made the list and the 17th time overall this season.
The CBS newsmagazine also made the Top 10 in key demos, finishing at #5 in adults 25-54 (3.2/09) and tying at #6 in adults 18-49 (2.3/08), according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for March 29. 60 MINUTES won the night as Sunday's most-watched broadcast and topped all competitors in those keys demos in its timeslot.
Sunday's 60 MINUTES featured Charlie Rose's interview with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and a two-part story on a promising new cancer therapy based on the polio virus reported by Scott Pelley.
