ABC Dominates Friday/"Shark Tank" Marks 2nd-Most-Watched-Ever Telecast and "20/20" Earns 2nd-Highest Ratings This Season
ABC Friday Prime (8-11pm - 6.9 million and 1.7/6 in AD18-49): With the Winter Olympics concluded, ABC moved back into the #1 position on Friday among Adults 18-49 and equaled a season high on the night. Excluding the past three Olympic Fridays, ABC led the night for the 5th week in a row with young adults (1.7/6), dominating original line-ups on CBS by 21% (1.4/5) and on NBC by 42% (1.2/4).
· ABC's Shark Tank (2.1/7) and 20/20 (1.8/5) were once again the Top 2 TV programs of the night in Adults 18-49. In fact, Shark Tank was up 24% week to week and 20/20 spiked 29%.
· Shark Tank turned in the series' 2nd-largest-ever audience (7.8 million).
· Friday's dominant #1 newsmagazine over NBC's Dateline, ABC's 20/20 posted its 2nd-strongest performance this season in Adults 18-49 (1.8/6) and Adults 25-54 (2.4/7). 20/20 featured David Muir's exclusive report about a worldwide manhunt by two different fathers searching for their sons, after the mother of both boys takes them on an overseas vacation and doesn't return.
· ABC's Last Man Standing ranked #1 in the 8pm half-hour in Adults 18-49 (1.2/5-tie).
