NBC RESULTS FOR THE PRIMETIME WEEK OF APRIL 11-17

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - April 19, 2011 - Paced by "The Office," which was the #1 scripted program of the week in adults 18-49, NBC averaged a 1.6 rating, 5 share in adults 18-49 and 5.2 million viewers overall for the week of April 11-17, according to in-home viewing figures from Nielsen Media Research.

NBC's primetime performance this week was led by "The Office," which ranked #1 among scripted series this week in adults 18-49 and was the #4 ranked program overall in primetime's key demographic, trailing only two editions of "American Idol" and Monday's "Dancing With The Stars." Among adults 18-34, "The Office" was the #2 program of the week, behind only the Wednesday telecast of "American Idol. "

Also ranking among the top primetime programs of the week in adults 18-49 was "The Biggest Loser: Couples (#16, tied), "The Celebrity Apprentice" (#19, tied), "Parks and Recreation (#22, tied) and "30 Rock" (#29, tied).

Primetime averages for the week of April 11-17 in adults 18-49 were Fox (2.6/8), ABC (2.1/6), CBS (2.0/6), NBC (1.6/5) and CW (0.7/2). In overall total viewers the weekly averages were CBS (9.2 million), Fox (7.9 million), ABC (7.8 million), NBC (5.2 million) and CW (1.5 million).

NBC highlights for the week of April 11-17:

* "The Celebrity Apprentice" generated solid growth throughout its two-hour time period, increasing 36 percent in adults 18-49 and 30 percent in total viewers from its first half-hour to its fourth. Overall in its two-hour time period, "Celebrity Apprentice" ranked #2 among the broadcast networks in adults 18-49 and was #1 in adults 25-54.

* For its second hour from 10-11 p.m. ET, "Celebrity Apprentice" ranked #1 among the broadcast networks in adults 18-49 and all other key demos - adults, men and women 18-34; men and women 18-49; and adults, men and women 25-54. The final hour of "Celebrity Apprentice" was the top-rated hour of the night on the broadcast networks.

* "Celebrity Apprentice" continues to outpace its year-ago performance, with this week's telecast up 4 percent in adults 18-49 and 12 percent in total viewers versus the same night last year.

* On Thursday, "The Office" was the #1 scripted show of the night, with the top "Office" results in both adults 18-49 and total viewers since January 27. "The Office" ranked #1 in its slot in adults 18-49, adults 18-34 and other key demos.

* Versus its most recent first-run telecast, "The Office" was up 18 percent in adults 18-49 and 11 percent in total viewers.

* Also on Thursday, "Parks and Recreation" matched its highest 18-49 rating since January 27 and attracted its biggest overall viewership since that same date. "Parks" ranked #2 in the slot among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in adults 18-49 and most other key demos and was #1 among adults and men 18-34.

* Additionally on Thursday, "30 Rock" scored its top 18-49 and total-viewer results since February 24, and won the half-hour in adults 18-49 and other key demos opposite encores of CBS's "The Mentalist" and ABC's "Private Practice." Versus its most recent original telecast, "30 Rock" was up 16 percent in 18-49 rating.

* On Tuesday, "Parenthood" was up week to week by 11 percent in adults 18-49 and 10 percent in total viewers to deliver its top results in both measures since February 22.

* "Parenthood" ranked #1 in the time period among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults, men and women 18-34 and #2 in adults and women 18-49.

* Also on Tuesday, "The Biggest Loser: Couples" ranked #2 in adults 18-49 and most other key demographics in a time period that included competition from ABC's "Dancing With The Stars" and the season premiere of "Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution" and CBS's "NCIS" and "NCIS: LA."

* From its first half-hour to its fourth, "Loser" gained 25 percent in adults 18-49, 20 percent in adults 25-54 and 13 percent in total viewers.

* NBC ranked #2 among all broadcast and cable networks in primetime Tuesday night in adults 18-49.

Ratings reflect "live plus same day" data unless otherwise noted. Season-to-date figures are averages of "live plus seven day" data except for the two most recent weeks, which are "live plus same day."

On Monday, April 11 from 8-9 p.m. ET, "Chuck" averaged a 1.3 rating, 4 share in adults 18-49 and 4.0 million viewers overall.

Monday from 9-11 p.m. ET, "Law & Order: LA" averaged a 1.5/4 in adults 18-49 and 6.1 million viewers overall. From its first half-hour to its fourth, "Law & Order: LA" grew by 31 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 1.7 rating from a 1.3) and by 26 percent in total viewers (to 6.7 million from 5.3 million).

On Tuesday, April 12 from 8-10 p.m. ET, "The Biggest Loser: Couples" (2.7/8 in adults 18-49, 7.4 million viewers overall) ranked #2 in adults 18-49 and most other key demographics in a time period that included competition from ABC's "Dancing With The Stars" and the season premiere of "Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution," CBS's "NCIS" and "NCIS: LA" and Fox's "Glee" encore.

From its first half-hour to its fourth, "The Biggest Loser" gained 25 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 3.0 rating from a 2.4), 20 percent in adults 25-54 (3.6 vs. 3.0) and 13 percent in total viewers (8.6 million vs. 7.0 million).

Tuesday at 10 p.m. ET, "Parenthood" (2.1/6 in adults 18-49, 5.2 million viewers overall) delivered its highest 18-49 and total-viewer results since February 22. Week-to-week, "Parenthood" was up 11 percent in adults 18-49 (2.1 vs. 1.9) and 10 percent in total viewers (5.215 million vs. 4.762 million).

"Parenthood" ranked #1 in the time period among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults, men and women 18-34 and #2 in adults and women 18-49. These "Parenthood" results are likely to increase substantially when Nielsen issues "live plus seven day" ratings for the week of April 4-10. Through the first 26 weeks of the season, "Parenthood" added an average 41 percent to its 18-49 rating when going from the previously reported "live plus same day" ratings to its "live plus seven day" results, the #2 percentage increase among all primetime series on ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW.

NBC ranked #2 among all broadcast and cable networks in primetime Tuesday night in adults 18-49.

On Wednesday, April 13 from 8-9 p.m. ET, "Minute To Win It" averaged a 0.9/3 in adults 18-49 and 3.3 million viewers overall in a highly competitive time period opposite Fox's "American Idol," CBS's "Survivor," ABC's "The Middle" and "Better With You" and CW's "America's Next Top Model." From its first half-hour to its second, "Minute" grew in all key ratings categories, including gains of 25 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 1.0 rating from a 0.8) and 33 percent in adults 18-34 (0.9 vs. 0.6).

From 9-10 p.m., an encore telecast of "Minute To Win It" averaged a 0.9/2 in 18-49 and 3.1 million viewers overall in another competitive hour opposite Fox's "American Idol" and "Breaking In," CBS's "Criminal Minds" and ABC's "Modern Family" and premiere of "Happy Endings." From its first half-hour to its second, the "Minute" rebroadcast grew in all key ratings categories, including gains of 25 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 1.0 rating from a 0.8) and 44 percent in adults 25-54 (to 1.3 from 0.9).

Wednesday from 10-11 p.m. ET, a rebroadcast of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" captured a 1.5/4 in adults 18-49 and 4.9 million viewers overall. "SVU" built on its lead-in from the previous hour by 67 percent in 18-49 rating and 60 percent or more than 1.8 million persons in total viewers.

On Thursday, April 14 at 8 p.m. ET, "Community" averaged a 1.4/5 in adults 18-49 and 3.5 million viewers overall in a highly competitive time period opposite Fox's "American Idol," ABC's "Wipeout," CBS's "Big Bang Theory" encore and CW's "Vampire Diaries." "Community" ranked #2 among those networks in adults 18-34, behind only "Idol." Through the first 26 weeks of the season, "Community" has added an average 26 percent to its 18-49 rating when going from the previously reported "live plus same day" rating to its "live plus seven day" figure

At 8:30 p.m., the debut of "The Paul Reiser Show" averaged a 1.1/3 in 18-49 and 3.4 million viewers overall, retaining 97 percent of its total-viewer lead-in opposite such competition as Fox's "American Idol," ABC's "Wipeout," CBS's encore of "Rules of Engagement" and CW's "Vampire Diaries." In adults 25-54, the lead-in retention for "The Paul Reiser Show" was 93 percent (with a 1.4 rating vs. a 1.5). In total viewers, this is NBC's best retention of an original "Community" lead-in in this time period in more than four months (since December 9).

Thursday from 9-9:31 p.m. ET, "The Office" (4.0/11 in adults 18-49, 7.9 million viewers overall) was the #1 scripted show of the night with the top "Office" results in both 18-49 and total viewers since January 27. "The Office" ranked #1 in its slot in adults 18-49, adults 18-34 and other key demos.

Versus its most recent first-run telecast on March 24, the April 14 episode of "The Office" was up 18 percent in 18-49 rating (4.0 vs. 3.4) and 11 percent in total viewers (7.871 million vs. 7.072 million).

These results for "The Office" are likely to increase substantially when Nielsen issues "live plus seven day" results for the week of April 11-17. Through the first 26 weeks of the season, "The Office" added an average 32 percent to its 18-49 rating when going from the previously reported "live plus same day" rating to its "live plus seven day" figure. In total viewers, The Office" on average gains 27 percent or 2.0 million viewers (to 9.3 million from 7.3 million).

From 9:31-10 p.m., "Parks and Recreation" (2.5/7 in 18-49, 5.2 million viewers overall) matched its highest 18-49 rating since January 27 and attracted its biggest overall viewership since that same date. "Parks" ranked #2 in the slot among ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW in adults 18-49 and most other key demos and was #1 among adults and men 18-34.

Thursday from 10-10:31 p.m. ET, "30 Rock" (2.2/6 in adults 18-49, 4.4 million viewers overall) delivered its top 18-49 and total-viewer results since February 24. "30 Rock" won the half-hour in adults 18-49 and other key demos opposite encores of CBS's "The Mentalist" and ABC's "Private Practice." Versus its most recent original telecast on March 24, "30 Rock" was up 16 percent in 18-49 rating (to a 2.2 from a 1.9).

It's worth noting that through the first 26 weeks of the season, "30 Rock" added an average 31 percent to its 18-49 rating when going from the previously reported "live plus same day" rating to its "live plus seven day" results.

Thursday from 10:31-11 p.m. ET, "Outsourced" (1.7/5 in 18-49, 3.5 million viewers overall) scored its highest 18-49 rating since February 10. "Outsourced" ranked #1 in the time period among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults, men and women 18-34 and men 18-49. Through the first 26 weeks of the season, "Outsourced" added an average 28 percent to its 18-49 rating when going from the previously reported "live plus same day" rating to its "live plus seven day" figure.

On Friday, April 15 from 8-9 p.m. ET, "Friday Night Lights" averaged a 0.9/3 in 18-49 and 3.6 million viewers overall

Friday from 9-11 p.m. ET, "Dateline NBC" (1.4/4 in 18-49, 5.8 million viewers overall) ranked #1 in adults 25-54. From its first half-hour to its fourth, "Dateline" reported increases of 33 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 1.6 rating from a 1.2), 24 percent in adults 25-54 (2.1 vs. 1.7) and 23 percent or 1.2 million persons in total viewers (6.3 million vs. 5.1 million). This was the top-scoring "Dateline" in adults 18-49 in three weeks.

On Saturday, April 16 at 8 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Law & Order: LA" (0.7/2 in 18-49, 3.8 million viewers overall) locked up NBC's top 18-49 rating in this time period in five weeks (since March 12). "Law & Order: LA" ranked #2 in the hour among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49.

At 9 p.m., a second rebroadcast of "Law & Order: LA" (0.8/3 in 18-49, 4.6 million viewers overall) built on its lead-in from the previous hour's encore by 14 percent in 18-49 rating and 22 percent in total viewers. In the hour, "Law & Order: LA" tied for #2 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 and was #1 in women 18-49 (tied) and women 25-54.

Saturday from 10-11 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" captured a 1.0/3 in 18-49 and 4.7 million viewers overall. From its first half-hour to its second, "SVU" grew by 10 percent in adults18-49 (to a 1.1 from a 1.0) and 15 percent in adults 25-54 (1.5 vs. 1.3).

On Sunday, April 17 from 7-8 p.m. ET, "Dateline NBC" averaged a 0.9/3 in 18-49 and 4.6 million viewers overall. "Dateline" grew week to week by 6 percent in total viewers (4.599 million vs. 4.334 million).

Sunday from 8-9 p.m. ET, "America's Next Great Restaurant" averaged a 1.2/3 in 18-49 and 3.8 million viewers overall. "America's Next Great Restaurant" built on its lead-in from the previous hour by 33 percent in adults 18-49 and was up week to week by 9 percent in total viewers (3.827 million vs. 3.514 million).

"America's Next Great Restaurant" grew from its first half-hour to its second in all key ratings categories, including gains of 18 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 1.3 rating from a 1.1) and 21 percent in adults 25-54 (1.7 vs. 1.4).

Sunday from 9-11 p.m. ET, "The Celebrity Apprentice" (2.6/7 in 18-49, 7.7 million viewers overall) generated solid growth throughout its two-hour time period, increasing 36 percent in 18-49 rating from its first half-hour to its fourth (to a 3.0 from a 2.2) and adding 30 percent or 2.0 million persons in total viewers (to 8.6 million from 6.6 million). In its two-hour time period, "Celebrity Apprentice" ranked #2 among the broadcast networks in adults 18-49 and was #1 in adults 25-54.

For its second hour from 10-11 p.m. ET, "Celebrity Apprentice" ranked #1 among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49 and all other key demos - adults, men and women 18-34; men and women 18-49; and adults, men and women 25-54 -- versus original drama competition from CBS's "CSI: Miami" and ABC's "Brothers and Sisters." With a 2.8 rating in adults 18-49 from 10-11 p.m., the final hour of "Celebrity Apprentice" was the top-rated hour of the night on the broadcast networks.

"The Celebrity Apprentice" was up versus the same night last year by 4 percent in 18-49 rating (2.6 vs. a 256 on April 18, 2010) and up 12 percent in total viewers (7.656 million vs. 6.822 million). Versus NBC's non-sports average in this time period earlier this season prior to the "Apprentice" debut, "Celebrity Apprentice" was up 44 percent in 18-49 rating (2.6 vs. 1.8, "live plus same day") and 25 percent in total viewers (7.656 million vs. 6.103 million).

NBC's Sunday primetime built steadily throughout the night, more than tripling in 18-49 rating (to a 3.0/8 from a 0.8/3) and nearly doubling in total viewers (to 8.602 million from 4.568 million) from the first to the final half-hour of primetime.
