"SHARK TANK" CONTINUES TO ATTACK THE COMPETITION
Summer's No. 1 new unscripted network series, "Shark Tank," can't be stopped! Entering its fifth episode, the show that gives budding entrepreneurs a chance to make their dreams come true continues to bring in strong ratings, increasing its female audience, and is No. 1 in Total Viewers for new network reality series. In just four weeks, the "Sharks" have bitten at the chance to invest over $2 million dollars in the unique business ideas and products presented to them by the show's contestants.
Last week alone the "Sharks" snatched up opportunities to invest $550,000 of their own money in such ideas as a playpen cover and an internet business that allows users to buy and sell unwanted gift cards. On the episode airing SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 6 (9:00-10:00 p.m., ET), the "Sharks" are pitched ideas for a state of the art push-up device, a unique health bar, a swine flu mask, a celebration-of-life party company and an online therapy journal.
