CARLA) (FOX) - Swoosie Kurtz has been cast in the Mayim Bialik-led comedy, about Kat (Bialik), "a 39-year-old woman who struggles every day against society and her mother Sheila (Kurtz) to prove that you CANNOT have everything you want - and still be happy. Which is why she spent the money her parents set aside for her wedding to open a Kat Café in Louisville, KY." Kurtz's Sheila "grew up in Louisville and subscribes to very traditional gender roles. She views her daughter Kat's (Bialik) unmarried status as her own personal failure. A charming narcissist, Sheila has used her sex appeal to date an endless array of men since Kat's father died." (Deadline.com)
REBEL (ABC) - John Corbett is set to star opposite Katey Sagal in the drama pilot as Grady Bello, "a charming jack of all trades who never grew out of his dirty-sexy bad boy looks; even has the vintage mustang to prove it. Grady shares one adopted teenage daughter, Ziggie, with his wife of almost 10 years, Rebel (Sagal). Although he's her third husband, Grady has been with her the longest of any man. He thinks of himself as a good guy. Other people, for the most part, think of him as a pathological liar. But Rebel loves him - and he makes the most of that." (Deadline.com)

Bradley is Reese: "Hard-working and headstrong, Reese has spent a lifetime in fierce competition with his beloved sister, Callie. But when the opportunity to finally prove his worth comes with an incredible cost, Reese must figure out what lines he is willing to cross to finally come out on top."
