AMBITIONS (OWN) - Brian Bosworth, Deena Dill, Gino Anthony Pesi and Kayla Smith are all slated to recur on the upcoming drama. Bosworth plays Hunter Purifoy, "a savvy, pharmaceutical scion and the leader of Purifoy Pharmaceuticals, who is in the throes of combating a class action suit brought by the powerful Carlisle law firm family." Dill then is Juniper Purifoy, "the wife of Hunter Purifoy (Bosworth), owner of Purifoy Pharmaceuticals"; with Pesi as Greg Peters, "an aggressive, self-confident, real estate developer who's trying to get Rondell Lancaster (Brely Evans) to sell him the family restaurant so he can use the block in an upcoming development plan"; and Smith as Carly Lancaster, "the smart, determined daughter of attorney Stephanie Carlisle (Robin Givens) and Atlanta Mayor Evan Lancaster (Brian White)." CLAWS (TNT) - Juan Riedinger has booked a recurring role on the new season as Joe Dupree, "the handsome, charming, and dangerous General Manager for the largest Native American casino on Florida's Gulf coast." (Deadline.com)
GODFATHER OF HARLEM (Epix) - Kathrine Narducci is the latest to recur on the period drama as Olympia Gigante, "the long-suffering wife of mafia boss Vincent "Chin" Gigante (Vincent D'Onofrio). Fiercely protective of her husband, she acts as an intermediary between her stepdaughter Stella (Lucy Fry) and Chin as their relationship spirals into madness." (Deadline.com)
GOOD DOCTOR, THE (ABC) - Executive producer Daniel Dae Kim will step in front of the camera on the series with the recurring role of Dr. Jackson Han, "a brash new Chief of Surgery at St. Bonaventure." (Deadline.com)
HIGHTOWN (Starz) - James Badge Dale is set to star opposite Monica Raymund in the drama series as Ray Abruzzo, "a Massachusetts State Trooper assigned to the Cape Cod Drug Task Force, who questions Quinones (Raymund) as the body she found was his C.I. He is determined to crack the case and wants to avenge the death of his C.I." (Deadline.com)
STAR TREK: SHORT TREKS (CBSAA) - The streaming service has commissioned two more installments of the short-form series, both of which will be animated. Said episodes are being targeted for the spring following the second season of "Star Trek: Discovery." Additionally, at least one more animated series is in the works to join the previously announced "Star Trek: Lower Decks." No other details were given. (THR.com)
STARGIRL (DC Universe) - Luke Wilson has been cast as Pat Dugan, the step-father and sidekick to Stargirl (Brec Bassinger) herself. (@TheDCUniverse)
