CUZ-BROS (CBS/CTS/Sony; W: David Caspe & Erik Sommers; D: Pamela Fryman) - Debra Jo Rupp and Andrea Anders are the latest additions to the comedy pilot, about Nick (Geoff Stults), a successful, suave ladies' man whose perfect life gets turned upside down when his mess of a cousin needs a place to stay. The former will play Merle, "Nick's sweet, no-nonsense, widowed mother who lives nearby"; with Anders as Stacey, "the smart, tough lead anchor of the local news in L.A. where Nick does the sports." DIG (USA/UCP; W: Gideon Raff & Tim Kring; D: S.J. Clarkson) - Alison Loren Sudol has been tapped for a role on the six-episode series, about an FBI agent stationed in Jerusalem (Jason Isaacs) who, while investigating a murder of a young female archeologist, uncovers a conspiracy 2000 years in the making. She'll play Emma Wilson, "an American intern working on a dig site in Jerusalem who befriends Peter." Anne Heche also stars. (Deadline.com)
MANHATTAN (WGN America/Lionsgate; W: Sam Shaw; D: Thomas Schlamme) - Michael Chernus (Captain Phillips) is the latest addition to the series, which follows the brilliant but flawed scientists - on mission to build the world's first atomic bomb in Los Alamos, New Mexico - and their families as they attempt to co-exist in a world where secrets and lies infiltrate every aspect of their lives. He'll play Louis "Fritz" Fedowitz, "one of the brilliant scientists assigned to Frank Winter's (John Benjamin Hickey) team." Alexia Fast, Ashley Zukerman, Christopher Denham, David Harbour, Daniel Stern, Harry Lloyd, Katja Herbers, Olivia Williams and Rachel Brosnahan also star. (Deadline.com)
MATADOR (El Rey; W: Alex Kurtzman, Dan Dworkin, Jay Beattie & Roberto Orci; D: Robert Rodriguez) - Jonny Cruz and Dylan Bruce have both scored roles on the upcoming drama, about Antonio "Matador" Bravo (Gabriel Luna), a popular soccer star, who comes to be known as much for his playboy antics off the field as his dynamic moves on it. But what his fans and family don't realize is that it's all a cover - in truth, he is a skilled covert operative executing missions for a little known branch of the CIA. The former will play Ricky Bravo, "Tony's younger brother who's currently in prison"; with the latter as Gabriel, "a Lothario type DEA Agent." Alfred Molina and Nicky Whelan also star. (Deadline.com)
MISSION CONTROL (NBC/Universal; W: David Hornsby; D: TBA) - Eric Nenninger ("Kickin' It") is the latest to board the comedy pilot, which examines what happens when Mary (Krysten Ritter), a strong woman, butts heads with Tom (Tommy Dewey), a macho astronaut, in the race to land on the moon in 1962. He's set as Gordie, "an earnest, good looking member of Mary's crew." Jonathan Slavin, Julie Meyer, Leah Renee, Malcolm Barrett and Michael Rosenbaum also star. (Deadline.com)
PROOF (TNT; W: Rob Bragin; D: Alex Graves) - Matthew Modine will round out the cast of the drama pilot, about Katherine Russo (Jennifer Beals), a skeptical, hard science, female surgeon who is persuaded to investigate cases of reincarnation, out-of-body experiences, hauntings to find verifiable proof whether death truly is the end. He'll play Ivan Turing, "a charming, eccentric, technology multi-billionaire facing a terminal cancer" who funds Russo's quest. SOBER COMPANION (FOX/CTS; W: David S. Rosenthal & Jennie Snyder Urman; D: Don Scardino) - British comedian Nick Frost is set to star opposite Justin Long in comedy pilot, about Robert Lang (Frost), a charming, but self-destructive attorney finds his world turned upside down when Jeremy Brummel (Long), a court-appointed, and highly unconventional, sober companion takes control of his life. Ally Maki and Pete Davidson also star in the project, which switched to a single-camera format with the casting of Long last month. (Deadline.com)
WINKLERS, THE (ABC/20th; W: Max Winkler, Phil Rosenthal & Rob Reinis; D: Phil Rosenthal) - Joseph A. Nunez (Warren) has snagged a role on the comedy pilot, about Jack Conner (Domenick Lombardozzi), an emotionally reserved construction worker who learns about love, life and hugs while unexpectedly living with his in-laws Henry (Henry Winkler) and Tita (Judith Light). He'll play Paco, "a construction worker on Jack's crew whose secret passion is dance." Eva Amurri Martino and Josh Sussman also star. (Deadline.com)
AND IN OTHER NEWS... - "Grey's Anatomy" co-stars Tessa Ferrer and Gaius Charles won't return as regulars on the show's expected 11th season (Deadline.com); Adam Fierro has been tapped to serve as showrunner of USA's new Tom Ellis-led drama "Rush" (Deadline.com); and Daniel Sharman likewise won't be back for season four of "Teen Wolf," joining Crystal Reed and Max Carver as the show's most recent departures (EOnline.com).
