ABC ANNOUNCES ITS MAY SWEEPS PROGRAMMING, INCLUDING THE DRAMATIC TWO-HOUR SEASON FINALE OF "DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES," THE SEASON PREMIERE OF "THE BACHELORETTE" AND THE LIVE BROADCAST OF "THE 2011 BILLBOARD MUSIC AWARDS"

The ABC Television Network announces highlights of its upcoming May sweeps programming, with season finales of some of television's favorite shows and the live broadcast of "The 2011 Billboard Music Awards."

JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE -- MONDAY-FRIDAY (12:00-1:06 a.m., ET) -- Throughout sweeps, Jimmy Kimmel hosts an all-star lineup of guests, including Jodie Foster, Sof�a Vergara, Ellen Pompeo, Kate Hudson, Chris O'Donnell, Kate Walsh and boxer Manny Pacquiao. May also brings the first interview with the winner of "Dancing with the Stars," as well as a full week devoted to the stars of "Thor," including Anthony Hopkins, Chris Hemsworth, Rene Russo and Kenneth Branagh. In addition, Kimmel welcomes "The Bachelorette" Ashley Hebert for her first late-night interview following the series' season premiere. The month also brings musical performances from Britney Spears, Airborne Toxic Event, k.d. lang, Calle 13, Zac Brown Band and Raphael Saadiq.

GREY'S ANATOMY -- "It's a Long Way Back" - THURSDAY, APRIL 28 (9:00-10:01 p.m., ET) -- Everyone pulls together to help Callie and baby Sofia on their painstaking journeys to recovery in hopes of allowing mother and baby to finally meet; the sudden death of a clinical trial patient has Derek proceeding with more caution, while Meredith makes a calculated and risky move; Alex treats a cranky, old rich woman dying of cancer and gets an idea for a grandiose endeavor that is sure to get him the Chief Resident spot; and Teddy is pleasantly surprised by the return of a familiar face. James Tupper ("Men in Trees") returns as Dr. Perkins, and Doris Roberts ("Everybody Loves Raymond") guests.

PRIVATE PRACTICE -- "What We Have Here..." -- THURSDAY, APRIL 28 (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET) - Katie threatens to take legal action against Violet for "breach of confidentiality," and although Violet feels that she hasn't done anything wrong, she soon realizes she'll have to defend her actions to more people than just Katie. Meanwhile, Cooper suspects that Charlotte may be hiding some lingering feelings for ex-husband Billy, only to find out that Billy has been hiding some feelings of his own.

SHARK TANK -- "201" - FRIDAY, APRIL 29 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) -- Successful comedian and businessman Jeff Foxworthy once again enters the shark-infested waters as a guest "Shark" investor. A former athlete from Houston believes he can save children's lives with his product; an entrepreneur from Traverse City, Michigan attempts to ride the eco-friendly bandwagon with his line of push lawn mowers; a father from northern California believes he's found the solution to the problem of kids getting car sick; and two brothers from Austin, Texas have an offer for the Sharks with their lucrative kids birthday party franchise. There'll also be an update to see if Cactus Jack was able to fulfill Barbara Corcoran and Kevin Harrington's weighty request regarding his push-up machine, called the Body Jac.

EXTREME MAKEOVER: HOME EDITION -- "Dickinson Family" - SUNDAY, MAY 1 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) -- "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" invited the Marines to fall in for a call to action in Beaufort, South Carolina to honor Marine Staff Sergeant Bill Dickinson's family with a new home. Bill was deployed to Afghanistan on November 5, leaving behind his loving wife, India, and five children, who are fighting a losing battle here at home to save their house -- a scenario far too common for many military families across the nation. In Bill's absence, their home is rapidly depreciating due to spreading mold and water damage. Despite the deplorable conditions, the family maintain and model their lives in the same way their father honors his country. India volunteers on behalf of a military support group, and the oldest children, Grant (16) and Brianna (14), both plan to enlist in the Navy after they graduate from high school. Volunteers and local military will be on hand to lend their efforts and some good old fashioned elbow grease to the Dickinson family.

DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES -- "I'll Swallow Poison on Sunday" - SUNDAY, MAY 1 (9:00-10:01 p.m., ET) -- With Gaby and the girls temporarily staying at Bree's house, Bree must lay down the law and demand discipline before Juanita and Celia end up destroying her home; Tom hires Lynette and Renee to redecorate his office - but Lynette has her own ideas of what she thinks Tom needs, as opposed to wants; and while continuing to help nurse Paul back to health, Susan discovers that Felicia has been released from prison and is back on Wisteria Lane.

BROTHERS & SISTERS -- "For Better or for Worse" - SUNDAY, MAY 1 (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET) -- After Sarah confronts Brody about his being her father, she decides she no longer wants him to be a part of her life or Nora's -- but Nora just can't seem to let him go. Meanwhile, Olivia struggles with the new addition of baby Daniel to the family.

CASTLE -- "To Love and Die in L.A." - MONDAY, MAY 2 (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET) -- While investigating the shooting death of her ex-partner in New York, Beckett comes to believe the suspect has fled to Los Angeles. Against orders, she travels to L.A., going renegade to track down the killer, with Castle unexpectedly along for the ride. As they dig deeper into the motives, they uncover a trail that leads from a rooftop pool in Hollywood to a sandy beach in Santa Monica. Along the way, they visit the set of the "Heat Wave" movie (based on Castle's book) and enlist the cast to help break the case. But as they get closer to apprehending the killer, Castle begins to wonder whether Beckett is out for justice -- or revenge. In the episode, Gene Simmons (legendary rock star of KISS) appears as himself, Dominic Purcell ("Prison Break") guests as a local businessman who may have a connection to the murder, D.B. Sweeney ("The Cutting Edge") plays a detective in Robbery/Homicide who questions Castle and Beckett about their rogue investigation, and Jason George ("Off the Map") guests as an entrepreneur with a connection to the murder case.

JAMIE OLIVER'S FOOD REVOLUTION -- "203 - Is It Me or Have We Just Been Pushed Into a Corner?" - TUESDAY, MAY 3 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) -- MLA CEO Mike McGalliard delivers a shattering blow to Jamie and his 10 teenaged culinary students at West Adams Preparatory High School: They've been banned from serving food on campus. Heartbroken and defeated, Jamie makes an emotional plea to the kids' parents and gives the students a graphic reality check about what is really in the foods they're eating every day.

BODY OF PROOF -- "All in the Family" -- TUESDAY, MAY 3 (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET) -- A perfect neighborhood in the Philadelphia suburbs is shaken when a stay-at-home dad is found stabbed to death in his home. As Megan unravels the mystery of his death and who killed him, she recalls how she learned of her own father's death. Meanwhile, Peter helps Megan juggle her biggest challenge yet, taking charge of the Saturday carpool with her hard-to-impress daughter, Lacey, and her girlfriends. Also, Kate takes on a consulting role in a pro bono case with Megan's ex-husband, Todd (guest star Jeffrey Nordling).

THE MIDDLE -- "Mother's Day II" - WEDNESDAY, MAY 4 (8:00-8:30 p.m., ET) -- Mike and the kids present Frankie with the perfect Mother's Day gift - a day to herself. But when her day off goes awry, Mike offers a do-over with the family, which comes with its own set of glitches.

BETTER WITH YOU -- "Better with a Bargain" - WEDNESDAY, MAY 4 (8:30-9:00 p.m., ET) -- Joel works his bargaining skills and goes to extremes to get Mia the high-end baby stroller of her dreams. Meanwhile, an unemployed Maddie wonders if she's losing the passion it takes to be a lawyer.

MODERN FAMILY -- "Mother's Day" - WEDNESDAY, MAY 4 (9:00-9:31 p.m., ET) -- Claire and Gloria want to spend a nice Mother's Day outdoors hiking with the kids, but their nonstop bickering and complaining drives Claire to the edge, and she brings Gloria down with her. Meanwhile, Phil and Jay stay home to cook everyone a nice dinner, but things get really awkward when Phil witnesses an unexpected moment of weakness from Jay, and Cameron gets very self-conscious about being seen as the "mother" in the relationship.

COUGAR TOWN -- "Lonesome Sundown"-- WEDNESDAY, MAY 4 (9:31-10:00 p.m., ET) -- Although she realizes Travis could be making one of the biggest decisions in his life, Jules takes a step back. Meanwhile, Grayson tries to take an interest in Travis, and the gang establish a "council" to determine each other's punishment in an attempt to stop taking each other for granted. Lou Diamond Phillips guest stars as himself.

HAPPY ENDINGS -- "Of Mice & Jazz-Kwon-Do" - WEDNESDAY, MAY 4 (10:00-10:30 p.m., ET) -- Brad tries to fix Max up with a guy from work, but Max is anything but grateful; Penny regrets inviting super competitive Jane along to her martial arts class; and everyone thinks that Dave hanging out to help Alex with odd jobs means that he's pining for his ex . . . What he's actually longing for is his comfortable old digs, as he tries to adjust to living in Max's dicey apartment.

WIPEOUT -- "Spring Wipeout: The Most Dramatic Rose Ceremony Ever" - THURSDAY, MAY 5 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) -- "Our obstacle course brings contestants to their knees. Or in this case... one knee. What 'Wipeout' has joined together, let no man separate...," says host John Henson. Talk about spring training! In an episode full of surprises at every turn, contestants -- including a ladies' man, a recording artist and The Proposer -- face a fistful of troubles on the Qualifier before jumping over the Big Balls, taking a Zip Line run onto the Spring Fling and experiencing a blast of sugary delights to the face at the Candy Store in the Wipeout Kitchen. Follow that up with a grueling trip on the Scareousel, and only six people will compete on the all-new Supertramp challenge. The three people with the best hurdling skills will then move on the Spring Wipeout Zone, where we'll see if one contestant will follow through with his promise to Jill by proposing to his girlfriend after winning $50,000. GREY'S ANATOMY -- "White Wedding" - THURSDAY, MAY 5 (9:00-10:01 p.m., ET) -- As Callie and Arizona's wedding approaches, the couple quickly realize that the day they've been looking forward to is not turning out the way they'd envisioned. Meanwhile Alex continues to make the other residents jealous as he appears to be the top contender for Chief Resident, Meredith and Derek make a decision that will change their lives forever, and Dr. Perkins presents Teddy with a very tempting proposition. The episode was directed by Chandra Wilson.

PRIVATE PRACTICE -- "Something Old, Something New" - THURSDAY, MAY 5 (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET) -- The day has arrived for Cooper and Charlotte to marry, but not everyone is in a celebratory mood, leading the couple to second-guess their wedding plans. Meanwhile, the doctors of Oceanside Wellness are torn between the future of their practice and protecting one of their own, as an investigator is sent to question them about Violet's breach of confidentiality case.

SHARK TANK -- "204" -- FRIDAY, MAY 6 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) -- Tempers flare when guest Shark Mark Cuban urges the entrepreneurs to stop negotiating with the other Sharks if they even want a chance to make a business deal with him. In this episode, a fireman from Arkansas brings an invention to the Shark Tank that could make millions and save lives; after creating an eco-friendly way to listen to music on the go, a duo from Chicago hope the Sharks will want to invest; a feisty, combative entrepreneur from Montclair, New Jersey seeks to cash in on the lucrative wedding business; and a man from Oklahoma hopes the Sharks will smell the money when he pitches his unique male-oriented brand of candles.

EXTREME MAKEOVER: HOME EDITION - "Prewitt Brewer Family" - SUNDAY, MAY 8 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) -- A specially-themed Mother's Day episode celebrates a beloved volleyball coach who exemplifies what it means to be a mom. Carrie Prewitt from Middleburg, Florida, who never had children of her own, selflessly took three parentless sisters into her run-down but loving home at their moment of need. Helping out with building this family a new house will be two-time gold medalist in Olympic beach volleyball, Misty May, as well as two of the mothers of the "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" team, who all pitch in to make a new home that will match the colorful, creative personalities of its new inhabitants.

DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES -- "Then I Really Got Scared" - SUNDAY, MAY 8 (9:00-10:01 p.m., ET) -- Paul begins to suspect that Susan is responsible for his rapidly declining health; Lynette and Tom butt heads over where to go on their family vacation and which one of them will set it up; Gaby shows Juanita a horror movie and has to pay the price when her daughter becomes too scared to sleep in her own bed; and Bree runs into some trust issues when she goes out on a date with a detective.

BROTHERS & SISTERS - "Walker Down the Aisle" - SEASON FINALE -- SUNDAY, MAY 8 (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET) -- As Sarah and Luc's nuptials approach, plans go horribly awry, and the Walkers learn several surprising lessons about the real meaning of family.

CASTLE -- "Pretty Dead" - MONDAY, MAY 9 (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET) -- During rehearsal for "Baron's All-American Beauty Pageant," the contestants are shocked to discover the body of Miss Illinois - strangled, but by whom? As Castle and Beckett delve into the cut-throat competition of the pageant world, they learn that a number suspects had motive for murder, including jealous fellow contestants, the pageant's larger-than-life millionaire sponsor, Victor Baron (Michael McKean, "Curb Your Enthusiasm"), and the show's host -- hedonistic TV personality Bobby Stark (Sasha Roiz, "Caprica").

JAMIE OLIVER'S FOOD REVOLUTION -- "204 - We're Going to Go Guerrilla" - TUESDAY, MAY 10 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) -- Using a simple math equation, Jamie teaches the West Adams High students a practical lesson about the short term consequences of their unhealthy food choices. The message becomes far more emotional when Jamie invites a few guests suffering from the painful, long term effects of diabetes, heart disease and high blood pressure to share some unforgettable stories of their struggles with the students. Meanwhile, Jamie helps a busy, devoted single father and his two young boys open their eyes to their destructive daily cycle of eating fast food and rediscover the physical and emotional value of preparing and eating a home cooked meal together. Things really get ugly when Jamie learns first hand who was responsible for the decision to revoke his film permits and ban him from preparing food in any school across Los Angeles. As a result, Jamie refuses to accept defeat and devises a plan to move his kitchen across the street from West Adams High, but will this be enough to make a real impact?

BODY OF PROOF -- "Buried Secrets" -- TUESDAY, MAY 10 (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET) -- The high-profile, hit-and-run death of a Philadelphia homicide detective hits close to home with Detective Samantha "Sam" Baker. As Megan and the team dig deeper to investigate the death of one of their own, Megan realizes how important the bond between a parent and daughter is and misses her own close relationship with her daughter. Meanwhile, Megan must go to her mother, Judge Joan Hunt (guest star Joanna Cassidy), with whom she has a strained relationship, to ask for her help in the investigation.

THE MIDDLE -- "The Prom" - WEDNESDAY, MAY 11 (8:00-8:30 p.m., ET) -- After learning that Axl text-invited the wrong girl to prom and plans to solve the situation by standing her up, Frankie and Mike demand that he meet the girl face to face in a timely manner to gently break off the date - or face the music and take her to the big event. Meanwhile, Sue and her friend, Carly, try in earnest to fit in with the school's "B" crowd during lunch, and after a successful first show, Brick begins to bore Frankie and Mike with his impromptu one-man plays.

BETTER WITH YOU -- "Better with the Baby" - SEASON FINALE -- WEDNESDAY, MAY 11 (8:30-9:00 p.m., ET) -- While in labor, Mia and Casey decide that they should be married before baby Charlie comes into the world. The rush is on to make the wedding happen, as Casey and Ben dash to City Hall for the marriage license; Maddie puts herself in charge of finding an authorized person to perform the ceremony; and Vicky and Joel hurry to the hospital's gift shop to find the "something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue" items.

MODERN FAMILY -- "Good Cop Bad Dog" - WEDNESDAY, MAY 11 (9:00-9:31 p.m., ET) -- Phil and Claire swap parenting roles for the day - Claire will be the fun-loving good cop and Phil the disciplinarian bad cop - and it's literally a shock to each kid's system. Meanwhile Gloria is at it again, taking in every sob story and stray she comes across, Jay finds himself dispensing business advice to an overzealous entrepreneur (guest star Lin-Manuel Miranda) about his dog training business scheme, and Cameron is bedridden with the flu -- leaving Mitchell torn about the Lady Gaga concert tickets they have for later that night.

COUGAR TOWN -- "Damaged by Love" - WEDNESDAY, MAY 11 (9:31-10:00 p.m., ET) -- When Travis suffers his first truly broken heart, Jules and Bobby are at a loss as to how to help him. Meanwhile, Grayson stands up to Jules when she tries to tell him what to do, and Ellie turns to Laurie for support when Andy's overly flirty sister-in-law, played by Nia Vardalos ("My Big Fat Greek Wedding"), comes to visit.

HAPPY ENDINGS -- "The Girl with the David Tattoo" - WEDNESDAY, 12 (10:00-10:30 p.m., ET) -- Alex and Dave's his-and-hers tattoos come back to haunt them now that they're no longer a couple; Jane meddles in Max's love life when she thinks he's passing on the perfect guy (O-T Fagbenle); and Brad takes a stand at Rosalita's against the world's worst waiter (B.J. Bales), with unexpected results.

WIPEOUT - "Spring Wipeout: Dirty Laundry" - THURSDAY, MAY 12 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) -- "Wipeout offers contestants a chance to air out their dirty laundry...but unfortunately, we have no gentle cycle. They get it right in the 'delicates,'" says host John Henson. 24 players will undoubtedly fall, tumble and make magnificent splashes when they try to cross the Faulty Bridge and encounter the unforgiving Twister Mill. All contestants will then have dirty laundry, as they race their way through the course, but are sure to be left spotless and hung out to dry in the Wipeout Laundromat. The first six players that get through the Scareousel will move closer to compete on the Super Tramp challenge that will cut the group down to the final three, who will then get their chance to race across the Spring Wipeout Zone and bring home $50,000. GREY'S ANATOMY -- "I Will Survive" - THURSDAY, MAY 12 (9:00-10:01 p.m., ET) -- Personal and work pressures are adding up and have Meredith visibly on edge, Owen conducts formal interviews for the Chief Resident position, Cristina grows increasingly defiant, Alex and Lucy's undefined relationship gets tested, and Jackson suddenly backs out of the Webbers' diabetes trial.

PRIVATE PRACTICE -- "God Bless the Child" - THURSDAY, MAY 12 (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET) -- A second trip to the ER sparks concern for Betsey's well-being and prompts the doctors to launch an investigation into her new foster family -- risking sending the little girl back into the system. Meanwhile, Naomi makes a life changing decision for her family, and a struggling Amelia slips further away from sobriety.

SHARK TANK -- "208 " - SEASON FINALE -- FRIDAY, MAY 13 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) -- A woman from Yardley, Pennsylvania could help cat lovers everywhere if the Sharks invest in her toilet training kit for cats, and the Sharks fight each other for a piece of a multi-million dollar company owned by a pharmacist from Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, who has invented a shoe with interchangeable tops. Also in this episode, an entrepreneur from Chicago is hoping to reposition her once successful designer line of maternity t-shirts; and an artist originally from Mexico City (now living in Chicago) and eager to make his American dream come true hopes the Sharks will want to invest in his line of extravagant yet affordable jewelry. In addition there will be a follow up from Season 1 on the father and son team behind Voyage Air Guitar and what happened to their business after turning down the Sharks' $1 million dollar offer.

AMERICA'S FUNNIEST HOME VIDEOS -- "Episode 2123" -- SUNDAY, MAY 15 (7:00-8:00 p.m., ET) -- In Part One of the Season Finale, filmed aboard the Disney Dream(TM), the newest ship in the Disney Cruise Line(R) fleet, the countdown begins to see which $100,000 winner will take home this year's grand prize. The prize is a once-in-a-lifetime trip, which will include making memories at the Walt Disney World Resort(R) in Florida and the Disneyland(R) Resort in California, traveling to Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa in Ko Olina, Hawaii; choosing a guided family group vacation with Adventures by Disney(R); and finally, sailing aboard Disney Cruise Line(R)'s newest ship Disney Dream(TM). EXTREME MAKEOVER: HOME EDITION -- "Sharrock Family" - SEASON FINALE -- SUNDAY, MAY 15 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) -- The energetic and lively 9-year-old Patrick Sharrock from Rossville, Georgia manages to inspire everyone he's around. His positive attitude is even more remarkable because of his rare genetic condition, commonly known as brittle bone disease, where even the slightest bump could cause his bones to snap. Patrick and his parents, Cindy and Michael, were flown to Hollywood so that he could meet his own personal hero, the young actor Atticus Shaffer from the hit ABC comedy series, "The Middle." Like Patrick, Atticus also has a form of brittle bone disease. The family's 50-year-old crumbling house is a major landmine for him. It's up to the "EM: HE" design team to build a safe environment that Patrick could call home in just seven days.

DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES - "And Lots of Security�" / "Come on Over for Dinner" - TWO-HOUR SEASON FINALE - SUNDAY, MAY 15 (9:00-11:00 p.m., ET) -- A progressive dinner party thrown for Susan to celebrate her move back onto the lane leads to a shocking murder. Meanwhile, Gaby is stunned to learn the identity of the mysterious man who has been stalking her; Lynette and Tom attempt to put the spark back into their marriage by spending a few days alone together at a romantic B&B; after being placed under arrest for allegedly poisoning Paul, Susan must convince the police that she was being framed for the deed by Felicia; Bree begins to suspect that her new boyfriend may be gay; and Renee is devastated when she learns that her ex-husband is getting re-married.

CASTLE -- "Knockout" - SEASON FINALE - MONDAY, MAY 16 (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET) -- Kate Beckett's investigation into her mother's death is reactivated when Hal Lockwood (guest star Max Martini, "The Unit") - a professional hit man with knowledge of Beckett's mother's murder - stages a spectacular escape during a court hearing. As police launch a manhunt for Lockwood, Castle and the team uncover evidence of a deeper conspiracy involving a mysterious figure with law enforcement connections who is linked to both Lockwood's escape and the killing of Johanna Beckett. The search for Lockwood and the quest to identify his co-conspirator leads to a shocking and deadly conclusion.

JAMIE'S OLIVER'S FOOD REVOLUTION -- "205 - Feed Them Healthy Food with 77 Cents" -- TUESDAY, MAY 17 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) -- While the Revolution hasn't gone as planned, there is still hope. In addition, the UCLA Board of Public Health honor Jamie with the Public Health Champion Award, presented by Jamie Lee Curtis. Jamie Oliver uses this moment to let the UCLA and Public Health community know how difficult his plan to help the American people is turning out. This motivates Jamie and the American Heart Association to move Jamie's Kitchen closer to West Adams High School, as a way to present the students with healthier options. Later, Jamie takes Mike and his team to Carpinteria High School outside of Santa Barbara, where they grow their own fresh produce and feed their students non-processed food. As a final effort for his Food Revolution, Jamie decides to gather some of the finest chefs in the Los Angeles area and throw a challenge to each chef to teach a group of students how to cook their own meals.

BODY OF PROOF -- "Broken Home" -- TUESDAY, MAY 17 (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET) -- When Nikki Parkson, a philanthropic young socialite, dies, Megan suspects foul play, despite the fact that Nikki suffered from a terminal illness. Nikki's grieving mother (guest star Jill Eikenberry) and brother are devastated that their attempts at a dignified funeral are halted by Megan's investigation. Frustrating Megan's team is the fact that Nikki's body holds few clues, since she was embalmed before the autopsy. Meanwhile, Kate's personal life interrupts the investigation, and Lacey suspects that her parents are getting back together.
