NBC.COM NAMES STEPHEN ANDRADE AS SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, DIGITAL DEVELOPMENT AND GENERAL MANAGER

BURBANK - November 27, 2006 - NBC.com has promoted Stephen Andrade to Senior Vice President, Digital Development and General Manager NBC.com, it was announced today by Vivi Zigler, Executive Vice President, NBC Digital Entertainment and New Media.

"Steve has been an integral part of the NBC.com team since its inception," said Zigler. "He has repeatedly shown that he has the talent to bridge business, technology and consumer issues and has helped grow NBC.com into a very competitive site among the broadcast networks."

Under Andrade, who had been Vice President, Interactive Development, NBC.com has shown tremendous growth in terms of visits, consumer experience and revenue over the past twelve months. The team behind the site has more than quadrupled in size and now includes talented designers, publishers, editors and developers. He continues to report to Zigler.

Andrade was appointed Vice President, Interactive Development in August 1999 and managed and oversaw operations for NBC.com as well as related interactive activities for NBC Entertainment programming.

Previously, Andrade's responsibilities for NBC included acting as NBC Entertainment's liaison with NBCi, conducting West Coast business development for NBC Digital Media, and overseeing legal issues for Snap, the predecessor to NBCi.

Andrade began his career with NBC in the Legal department in May 1996 as NBC's first attorney devoted solely to interactive matters where, among other things, he handled corporate legal issues related to the launch and early days of MSNBC.

Prior to joining NBC, Andrade was a member of the legal and business affairs department of Sony Interactive Entertainment (now known as Sony Computer Entertainment) where he played a significant role in the third-party licensing program connected with the launch of PlayStation 1, as well as other video game and CD-ROM development activities.

A native of Kansas City, Andrade received a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Michigan and a doctorate of law from Harvard Law School. Andrade lives in Hancock Park, California, with his wife, Ivy, and his children, Kate and Alexander.
