A DOLITTLE GOES DUDE RANCH IN THE ABC FAMILY PREMIERE EVENT �DR. DOLITTLE 3� FILM MAKES ITS BROADCAST PREMIERE SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 12
Burbank, CA (October 30, 2006) � In the third film of the Dr. Dolittle franchise,
Kyla Pratt (�One on One� and �The Proud Family�) stars as Maya, the youngest Dolittle
daughter to possess her family�s incredible ability to speak to animals. The film makes
its broadcast premiere as an ABC Family premiere event on Sunday, November 12
(8:00PM-10:00PM ET/PT).
Like father, like daughter -- Maya Dolittle has inherited her father�s extraordinary
gift to communicate with the animal kingdom. Unfortunately, she has found that her
abilities have brought nothing but trouble into her life. Having a hard time fitting in as a
teen, her mother felt it beneficial to send her to the Dude Ranch Durango Summer
camp, where she once went as a child. In order to help save the ranch, Maya taps into
her abilities and starts talking to the ranch�s horses and cows in order to prepare them
for an upcoming rodeo. Things are looking up for Maya. Not only does she help save
the ranch but she also falls in love with one of the camp counselors.
Dr. Dolittle 3 was executive produced by Brian Manis (�Garfield� and �Garfield: A
Tale of Two Kitties�) and directed by Rich Thorne (TV Series �Walker Texas Ranger�).
The story was written by Hugh Lofting (�Dr. Dolittle,� and �Dr. Dolittle 2�) with additional
writing credits given to Nina Colman (�Meet Prince Charming� and �M� Word�). The film
is produced by 20 Century Fox Entertainment, Davis Entertainment and D3C
Productions Ltd. and is distributed by 20 Century Fox Home Entertainment.
