SURVIVOR: ALL-STARS has been one of the franchises most compelling editions to date, with emotions, hardships and backstabbing at record levels and a first ever SURVIVOR romance between Amber Brkich and Rob Mariano. During the May 9th finale, the final four castaways will be whittled down to two, with the Ultimate Survivor revealed live, followed by a reunion show from Madison Square Garden in New York City. Jeff Probst will again serve as the reunion host where the 18 castaways will reunite for the first time since being marooned off the coast of Panama.

Also in May, an episode of CSI: MIAMI will introduce the stars of next season's CSI: NY, when Horatio Caine (David Caruso) travels to New York to investigate a murder case with New York counterparts Det. Mac Taylor (Gary Sinise) and Det. Stella Bonesera (Melina Kanakaredes).

CBS's longform events include HELTER SKELTER, a new adaptation of Vincent Bugliosi's number one true crime bestseller of all time, based on the 1969 Tate/LaBianca murders and starring Jeremy Davies as Charles Manson and Bruno Kirby as Bugliosi; SCOTT TUROW's REVERSIBLE ERRORS, a suspense drama about a corporate lawyer whose world is turned upside-down when he is assigned to draft the final appeal of a potentially innocent inmate nearing his execution date, and THE BOOK OF RUTH, starring Christine Lahti, based on the Oprah Book Club selection about the relationship between a reticent young woman who has been degraded for years by her oppressive mother, and the shocking incident that ultimately frees them both from the ties that bind them together.

Among CBS specials are THE DICK VAN DYKE SHOW REVISITED, hosted by Ray Romano, an all-new episode reuniting Dick Van Dyke, Mary Tyler Moore, Carl Reiner and Rose Marie that catches up with Rob and Laura Petrie, in the present day, 40 years after the series was originally broadcast. In the new episode, writers Rob (Van Dyke) and Sally (Rose Marie) each receive a phone call from Alan Brady (Carl Reiner) with a strange request: Alan, who admires the eulogies that the pair wrote for Buddy (the late Morey Amsterdam) and Millies (Ann Morgan Guilbert) late husbands funerals, wants them to write his eulogy before he dies. He rationalizes the request by telling them that he wants to know what they will say about him and he also wants the chance to do a rewrite. To induce them, he offers to pay a very large fee for the dubious job. Rob and Sally are uncertain that they can actually complete the assignment given their real feelings about Alan, but they reluctantly agree to try for the money! Classic clips from the original series will also be seen.

Other specials include THE CAROL BURNETT SHOW: LET'S BUMP UP THE LIGHTS, with the legendary variety show star reuniting with Harvey Corman, Tim Conway, Vicki Lawrence and Lyle Waggoner to introduce never-before-seen clips from the spontaneous moments seen at the beginning of every "The Carol Burnett Show"; 60 MINUTES: SALUTE TO DON HEWITT; THE 39TH ANNUAL ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS, hosted by Reba McEntire, live from Las Vegas; and two primetime PRICE IS RIGHT MILLION DOLLAR SPECTACULARS.

8:00/7:00c - "Original Movie: Helter Skelter" (Three Hours)
HELTER SKELTER, a new three-hour television movie based on the true story of the August 1969 Tate/LaBianca murders, as chronicled in the bestselling book Helter Skelter by Vincent Bugliosi, will be broadcast as the "CBS Sunday Movie," Sunday, May 16 (8:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT on the CBS Television Network. Jeremy Davies ("Saving Private Ryan") stars as Charles Manson, Bruno Kirby ("American Tragedy") as prosecuting attorney Vincent Bugliosi, and Clea DuVall ("Carnival") as Linda Kasabian, Allison Smith ("Kate & Allie") as Patricia "Katie" Krenwinkle, and Margeurite Moreau ("Runaway Jury") as Susan "Sadie" Atkins, all members of the Manson Family. In 1976, CBS broadcast the mini-series "Helter Skelter," which averaged a 36.4 rating/54 share over its two nights and is the highest rated two-part made for television movie ever. Based on the bestselling book by Vincent Bugliosi, the movie chronicled the grisly Tate/LaBianca murders focusing on the investigation of the gruesome slayings and the trial of Charles Manson. This new adaptation, also based on the book, will instead focus on who Manson was, why he did what he did and how this morally corrupt ex-con was able to persuade the members of his Family to commit such horrifying acts. It was almost 35 years ago, late in the summer of 1969, that Mansons followers, at his instruction, brutally massacred seven people over two consecutive nights in Los Angeles and scrawled bloody messages on the walls of the crime scenes. The first night, director Roman Polanskis wife, eight-month-pregnant actress Sharon Tate, was murdered along with coffee heiress Abigail Folger, Jay Sebring, Voytek Frykowski and Steven Parent. The second night, supermarket chain president Leno LaBianca and his wife, Rosemary, were found stabbed to death in their home. How did Charles Manson, who spent almost half his life in prison prior to the murders, become so adept at manipulating people to the point where they would do anything for him? How did he get his followers to murder for him and even enjoy it? The movie will show where Manson and his family lived at Spahn Ranch, and will reveal the bizarre dynamics of the family, the evil philosophy Manson preached to his followers, the twisted mind-games he played with them, how he stripped them of any morality they may have had and how he convinced them it was time for "helter skelter."

In the special, the illustrious cast comes together before an audience to introduce never-before-seen clips from the spontaneous and hilarious moments that were seen at the beginning of every "The Carol Burnett Show" -- where Carol and the gang answered questions from the studio audience. The question and answer segments featured Carol as herself, not as a character, as she answered the no-holds-barred questions from audience members. Always impromptu and spur-of-the-moment, the segments showed Carol at her creative and improvisational best. Questions were also often asked of fellow cast members Harvey, Tim, Vicki and Lyle who joined Carol on stage to respond. Viewers will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite clips by telephone or the Internet. Carol will announce the top three clips on CBS News "The Early Show" (7:00-9:00 AM, ET/PT) the morning after the broadcast.

9:00/8:00c - "Original Movie: Scott Turow's Reversible Errors, Part 1"
SCOTT TUROWS REVERSIBLE ERRORS, a new four-hour mini-series, based on Turows best-selling novel and starring Emmy Award-winner William H. Macy ("Door to Door"), Emmy Award-winner Tom Selleck ("Magnum, P.I."), Monica Potter ("Without Limits"), Felicity Huffman ("Sports Night") and Shemar Moore ("The Young and the Restless"), has completed production in Halifax, Nova Scotia for broadcast on the CBS Television Network. This suspense drama follows a corporate lawyer whose world is turned upside-down when he is assigned to draft the final appeal of a potentially innocent inmate nearing his execution date. Successful corporate lawyer Arthur Raven (Macy) is not happy about having to draft a pro-bono final appeal for the seamy Rommy "Squirrel" Gandolph (Glenn Plummer), who is facing the death penalty after having confessed to a high profile triple homicide seven years prior -- but who now professes his innocence. However, Arthurs outlook soon changes after he tracks down the icy Gillian Sullivan (Huffman), the disgraced former judge who had presided over Squirrels case, but who was then sentenced to time in prison herself. To Arthurs surprise, the recently paroled Gillian produces a letter she just received from a man admitting to the crime. Arthur soon finds himself fixated on delving into the details of the original case and unraveling the twisted threads of the horrific crime that may or may not prove his clients innocence. He does this with the reluctant help from the ever frosty, yet emotionally raw Gillian, for whom Arthur had once harbored a secret attraction. Meanwhile, Muriel Wynn (Potter), an ambitious lawyer currently running for district attorney and who made a name for herself by prosecuting Squirrels case, and her former lover, Larry Starczek (Selleck), the original detective on the case who remains sexually attracted to the now-married Muriel, team up once again to defend Squirrels guilty verdict. Moore plays Collins Farwell, a cocky drug dealer who was imprisoned shortly after the triple murders. He attempted to cut a deal for himself by revealing information about the case to Larry and Muriel that ultimately led them to locate and arrest Squirrel. The final appeal forces Arthur, Gillian, Muriel and Larry to dredge up facts about the initial case and to face some difficult memories regarding their lives during the time of Squirrels conviction seven years prior. As they continue their investigations, what appears to be an open and shut case is in fact only the beginning -- and justice, careers, reputations, and a life, rests on the outcome.
