"48 HOURS" SATURDAY DOUBLE FEATURE

Saturday, Aug. 19

9:00 PM, ET/PT - Tushar Atre was a successful tech-executive-turned-cannabis-entrepreneur with a multimillion-dollar home on the California coast, where he spent his free time surfing. The dream house became a crime scene in October 2019, with grainy surveillance showing he was attacked and kidnapped. He was later found stabbed and fatally shot on his cannabis farm in the Santa Cruz mountains. 48 HOURS and correspondent Tracy Smith report on Atre's disappearance and murder and the investigation that led to four suspects, in an encore of "Who Shot the Tech Exec?" to be broadcast Saturday, Aug. 19 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+. It's a case that took investigators on as many twists as a surfer riding the famous waves at his doorstep. Watch a preview.

10:00 PM, ET/PT ¬ Angelina Fernandes will never forget the chaotic scene at her home on the night of May 7, 2014, when she was just 11 years old. She woke up and saw neighbors trying to save the life of Andrew Wagner, the fiancé of her mother, Stephanie. Wagner later died from a knife wound to his neck. Angelina's mother was charged with murder. Both women talk with 48 HOURS correspondent Peter Van Sant and describe what they say was Stephanie Fernandes' complicated and volatile relationship with Wagner in an encore of "What Angelina Saw," to be broadcast Saturday, Aug. 19 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+. Watch a preview.

48 HOURS, now entering its 36th year, is one of the most successful true-crime docuseries in television history and has been the #1 non-sports broadcast on Saturday nights for 16 consecutive years. 48 HOURS is broadcast Saturdays at 10:00 PM, ET/PT on CBS, and streams anytime on Paramount+.
